Shopping. More Fun in Zamboanga! |
Yes, it's me! Holding that almost 5 kilos of dried fish or locally called "bulad". This was taken by my sister last month in Zamboanga Wet and Dry Market, one of the biggest and oldest market in Zamboanga City. My mother used to tell her story about how she and her mother market here long ago. And yes, all you can see in this market are bunch or hills of dried fishes on its different variety, dried squids, "dilis" and all dried sea creatures that you can imagine [of course, except for all the illegal kinds of marine creatures]. You just need to be good in making "tawad" to buy it in a low, or not just low, a very low price. Anyway, that "bulad" or "daing" is presco pati bien sabroso! ( fresh and so delicious). ;)
