This is Regatta, or commonly know as boat racing. The "vinta" is very iconic, and as a result, when someone says Zamboanga, "vinta" is always the associated word for it. Most of the "vinta" were made by Badjao's and are used for the boat racing event during the 3 day celebration of Zamboanga Hermosa Festivalwhich is held every month of March.
