Technically, Badjao means "sea gypsies", which means, they dwell and depends on sea for their food. Badjao spear fishers uses a spear gun which is commonly improvised. And yes, Badjao's don't use any breathing equipment such as oxygen tanks and the like, they can hold their breath underwater for minutes, and that's what we call immunity and well-trained. Unlike other fishermen, Badjao uses an eco-friendly, improvised fishing device. Innovative isn't it! ;)
